Why Should You Want Beachbody on Demand (BOD)?

BOD could be the thing that puts the pizazz back into your exercise routine.

Who doesn’t get bored with the same ‘ol workouts?

We all do.  It’s part of it.  You have to mix things up sometimes to keep exercise interesting.  If you look forward to your next workout about as much as your next colonoscopy then you need to change something up.

There are SO. MANY. WORKOUTS. to choose from with a BOD membership.

If you can’t find at least a couple of programs that get you all warm and tingly when you’re not looking hard enough.

A Bit of Advice – Never decide a workout isn’t amazing because it’s ‘old’.  You’ll miss out on a ton of great programs if you do.  Make sure your bias against a workout is because of something OTHER THAN the production date.

Free trial! You’ve got nothing to lose.

Sure, you’re going to get even more email than you did before you signed up but let’s be real, you didn’t worry about that when you dished out your email to that restaurant for a free burger last week.

#2-Meet Someone New

Now’s your chance to meet an instructor you’ve been wondering about. Try out a workout with a host you don’t know yet.  Maybe they’ll inspire you in the way you’ve been looking for.

Or maybe your friend has been telling you how amazing Shaun T is and you’ve never seen it for yourself.

This is your opportunity to find the instructor that makes your bell ring.  We all need to find the program or person who motivates us.

#3-Find Out Who DOESN’T Fit Your Workout Style

Find out which Beachbody workouts and instructors you DON’T like. Not every instructor or video will be a perfect match for you.

Knowing what doesn’t work is as important as knowing what does.

For example, if you find out you love TurboFire (but nothing else) you can buy the series and feel confident in knowing that you’re getting a program you’ll actually do because you’ve already tried it.

Or maybe you’ll discover Tony Horton makes you want to punch yourself in the face sometimes.  This is your chance to figure it out so you’ll know which workouts to invest your money in (and which ones to avoid).

My advice:  Don’t decide who you love based on one series or one routine.  Try the same instructor in more than one series before you decide he/she isn’t for you. 

Each series has a different mood/style and your opinion and experience with the series will affect your impression of the instructor.

#4-Finally–Access to the Extras!

Remember all those empty slots you found when you bought the last video series from Beachbody?

Ever wonder what’s in those ‘Deluxe’ titles that you don’t get in the basic set?  Now you get to find out what all those missing workouts were about!

That was the first thing I checked for (the elusive missing workouts) after I signed up for BOD (I think I’m always hacked off about those other videos that you have to pay extra for).

#5-Closed Captioning

Clear sound and picture, and closed captioning! That’s right—you can read the entire workout and listen to your own music.  Figure out what plugs or wireless gadgets you need to connect your device to your TV and enjoy!

There’s also a list of equipment you’ll need and the length of each workout under the information for each program.
